Virtue Pro Sourdough Pizza Dough Balls


These beautiful Pizza Dough Balls are perfect for mobile and event caterers with limited storage space, as their slow steady prove means you can have them at ambient temperatures for up to 12 hours without overproving (depending on weather conditions) and will take away any predjudice you may have had regarding ready-made dough!

With 24 hours fermentation already under its belt, this dough can cold ferment in a fridge for a further 3 days once thawed, if required. 48 hours is perfect, allowing plenty of time for the dough to develop without losing too much moisture.

A higher hydration of 65% gives simply amazing results and an unsurpassed flavour thanks to the sourdough and unique mix of flours used – Italian 00 and durum, with added wheatgerm.

This dough is also higher in protein and much lower in salt than our other doughs, so a healthier bet all round.

Very flexible & easy to use, can be knocked back and re-proved for use on day 2 to minimise wastage.

We can ship in three ways:

  1. Courier pack for nationwide delivery via DPD: Shipped in insulated boxes with dry ice to keep them cold and Bulk discounts applied at checkout of -10% on orders of 3 cases of 80 or more. You can choose any available delivery day at checkout.
  2. For larger volumes (20+cases) nationwide, we can offer savings via Frozen Pallet Delivery – please ask one of our team: [email protected]
  3. Pallet pack in standard boxes with doughballs in a bulk bag. Available to customers within 100 mile radius of CV33 9BQ only. You will be given a set weekly delivery day and MOQ based on your delivery zone – check with your account manager what this is.



The doughballs may soften slightly in transit and should be transferred to your freezer immediately, unless you plan to use in the next 3 days, in which case load them into proving trays and place in the fridge to thaw and cold ferment.

If stored correcly, this beautiful dough can last up to 12 months frozen and up to 3 days refrigerated.
